Ride On Vibratory Roller

These units come in single drum or double drum versions and use articulated steering for accurate control.  The smaller double drum units are used mainly for compacting asphalt and are equipped with a pressurized water system that sprays water on the roller drums.

Trench Roller

Trench rollers are usually remote controlled.  These rollers are designed for compaction of soil in trenches where piping or other utilities have been buried.
